Patterning

Last week we were learning all about patterns. We spoke about repeating patterns, and how the things in the pattern keep repeating. We made up all sorts of patterns using our bodies, using blocks, threading beads and with colours.

Here are some of Room 4 working on cutting and sticking matching patterns together.

    Hello Room 4,
    You have made some interesting patterns on your snakes. I hope I never see those snakes slithering around at our school though because I would be very frightened!
    I like looking at your blog because you are doing such cool learning in your class. Well done KC learners!

    What a lot of patterns! I like how you have repeated some spots and stripes, as well as colours. That's pretty tricky, well done!
